This review is for the Cosmic Diner (version 1.00) mod from the Creation Club. It costs 300 coins and comes with an assortment of 50s diner-themed furniture and decor for your outposts and ships. Some of this decor is themed with Nuka Cola colors and logos.

What’s Inside?

Discussion of Content

The assortment of items offered in this content pack is nice. The design is beautiful, and the theme is perfectly executed. There are many little things to appreciate like how detailed the food is and the sculpting work on the booths and tables is great!

If you enjoy building, I think this content pack is great. Not only can you build a custom diner but it also gives you food props for a kitchen and more seating options. I am especially fond of the booths though there is a glaring issue. Food plates, the coffeemaker, and other table items from this pack prevent NPCs from using that table space. The collision is off.

Interactive content

You can place items in the fridge and interact with the gumball machine. I could also sit on every stool and chair I tried, and all the tables supported items placed on them. The jukebox doesn’t do anything and I felt like that was a bit of a waste, especially because this is a premium mod.

I do not think the cost of 300 credits is fair because there is nothing too exciting in this pack and many of the items have collision issues. I also maintain that a premium mod should have more in the way of interactivity or bigger set pieces. This mod would’ve been perfect if it came with some flooring or more items to go on the wall.
