Security Bots can be the biggest hurdle for new players during the early game. There are a couple of ways that you can deal with these bots. 

• Destroy them with the makeshift crossbow. Doing this also helps level up your accuracy and allows you to shoot with less sway. The downside of this is that it will take around 30-40 arrows and can take you the whole night. 
• Use Shock Traps
  • These traps can stun and are useful for getting in close with a melee weapon. They also cause a little damage, which will aid you in your fight. 
  • These traps do not need to be plugged in.
• Use the Chopinator traps, which are the best way to defeat them because the bots will get stuck on them and try to fight them. To go with that, the trap will break the bot down for you after. Make sure to connect your trap to a power source and go back every so often to repair it. Remember to disconnect the trap from the power source to fix it.

Security Bots are important because they drop Rootbeer and Security CPUs, which you will use throughout the whole game. Root beer is used to trade with Warren as well for canned peas, which will keep you full and are used in different recipes.
