Hello and welcome to my next Let’s Catch Up article. This is part 1 so be on the look out for the rest. These figures come to us from BigBadToyStore. Operation: Monster Force has quickly moved up my list and I feel like I just have to have these guys.
Operation: Monster Force Dark Directives Those Who Trespass 1/12 Scale BBTS Exclusive Action Figure Two-Pack: Pre-order
These will be cool for ambiance shots. You can’t go wrong with skeletons. This figure is “estimated to arrive 3rd Quarter 2026.”

The Forgotten King has allied with the ghoulish alchemist Levitican Serpieri, The Red Reaper and unleashes an army of skeletal warriors upon the world. General Brown classifies this as a “Dark Directive” – a separate, but significant threat – and keeps the operation secret, assigning it to his former teammate: Major Stryker. As the Bone Army advances, the Forgotten King manifests in spectral form, commanding legions of ghostly skeletons. But Dracula refuses to be outmatched, summoning spirits of his greatest warriors, reborn as blood-forged skeletons made from his own vampire blood! It is a battle of the Necromancers in Operation: Monster Force’s first Dark Directive!

But that trail leads to the cursed city of black magic: Chorazin. None who have entered its walls with noble intent have ever returned alive. And yet, they have returned as the walking dead. Roman centurions, Templar Knights, Jordanian Special Forces, all have tried to raid the secret city, but they have all fallen under the power of Levitican Serpieri. Now, they serve him as skeleton warriors, carrying the weapons and armaments they used in life.

Dracula’s mastery over blood allows him to abandon his mortal shell and be reborn from pools of blood. In his terrifying Blood Prince form, he rises from battlefields, trauma wards, and occult rituals alike. Any pool of blood can restore him, making his resurrection inevitable. Now wielding a blade forged of living blood, Dracula walks again, an undying predator who cannot be slain by mortal means.

So normally I do not like clear figures, but this one is a must-have for me. I love its helmet. This figure is “estimated to arrive 3rd Quarter 2026.”

Within the ranks of the Forgotten King, we have begun to notice a new type of soldier: glowing blue skeletons. We have given the code name: “The Azure Guard.” Unlike the Apophis Legion, these are not zombies. They seem to be only partially tangible, and only at certain times. Mr. Legacy suspects that they are astral projections – much like the blue specter of the Forgotten King that we sometimes witness before a battle.
As to who these skeletons once were, or where their bodies are physically located remains a mystery. Some seem to be armed with modern weapons, while others carry swords and shields, adding to their mystery. The damage from these weapons seems to be both physical and spiritual. Declan Van Helsing was shot several times by one and felt pain but had no wounds to speak of. On the other hand, Dracula and Delta Red have complained of taking damage to their vampire spirits – wounds that take time to heal and can incapacitate them on the battlefield.
Mr. Legacy suspects that an exorcist might be of value in dealing with the Azure Guard, but we have yet to find one capable of surviving a battle with the Forgotten King’s Forces to get close enough.
