In the world of Ulos, there are two games that the goblins play in the prison. The first is a card game explored in Goblin Vaults and the second is a dice rolling, nose picking, betting game in the form of Emerald Skulls.
Survivor: The Tribe Has Spoken review
Confession time: I have watched every episode of Survivor. Some seasons, I’ve even watched multiple times. I even convinced my wife to watch all the seasons to catch up so we can watch them live. I even play fantasy survivor games with my family. My brother even got me a Cameo of Season 44 winner Yam Yam for my birthday! One could say I’m a fan. At the time of this review, we’re heading into the end of Season 49 with Season 50, a cast of all returning players, on the horizon. What a more perfect time to check out the official Survivor party game than now!
Over the 25 years of the show, there have been several licensed Survivor themed games, all with pasted on thematic elements that did little to integrate the ins and outs of a Survivor season. How do you take the experiences of building an alliance with another player, playing a perfectly timed hidden immunity idol, stealing someone’s vote, winning an advantage in a challenge and bottle that all into a game? In Survivor: The Tribe Has Spoken, the creators have done just that.
Learn to Paint: Tigra and Echo
When Atomic Mass Games recently sent over the character pack, including Tigra and Echo, I figured these would be some fun and easy models to get up quickly on the table. Both have some opportunity for freehand work, and with Tigra, some fun and unique skin tones.

This week I bring some articles from a few people. I wanted to showcase David Flynn up first. After that we have a VR review from Sonya Haskins. Finally I a review from Joe Morgan and Henry Viola.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment review
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity filled in some of the gaps left by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s story. It may have taken a different, non-canon turn by the end, but it was a fun romp through Hyrule’s past in the Musou style. Now, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment seeks to do the same thing for Tears of the Kingdom, leading more directly into that title this time. Despite having a rough roadmap for the plot, gameplay, and overall structure, Age of Imprisonment has a much tougher task ahead of it: keeping it all interesting. After all, it can’t rely on the novelty of a Zelda Musou now that we’re three titles into this sub-series, and you won’t be guessing where the story will go. Is this bygone tale up to the task, or is it ancient history?
Reach VR Review
It has taken an excessively long time to write this review for Reach VR because I’ve had an on-again, off-again relationship with this game. It impressed me at Meta Connect and since then has become one of my favorite games at home. With that said, playing the game requires patience because this latest multi-platform release from nDreams has a few technical issues.
Painkiller review
No one would blame you if you mistook this game for a remaster of 2006’s People Can Fly title. This new game, developed by Saber Interactive, is technically a reboot that chooses to hold onto some elements of its namesake while attempting to forge its own path. While I’ve had a blast with the game, I can’t help but feel like the experience is missing that je ne sais quoi to drive it out of Purgatory and into the realm of other heavenly, top-tier games.
