Crimson Desert is full of tricky puzzles. This guide is for “Obsession and Madness,” which was rather easy to complete after I figured out what was going on.
This one stumped me for a few minutes. You have to make use of the full array of your abilities here. I have a video guide included.
Sorry about the image quality. I had to pull these from my video because I didn’t take any progress shots. Also, this is just the way that I chose to do this puzzle. I am sure there are other ways to tackle this.
First, you want to get to the pillar in the middle of the map. I did this by taking a running jump to glide to it, but you don’t have to do that. You can use your tether to activate the yellow circles on the pilon and go the long way.
Once you reach the pillar in the middle, use your tether on the yellow circles to activate the puzzle.
From that middle pillar, make sure you get the pillar to the left to glow blue. That means it’s activated. You can see this in the image below.
After that, activate the pillar that is closest to the wall in the back on the left. You can see that it is blue in the image below.

Once you reach the pillar that is in the back, walk around the right side of the pillar till you’re at where I am in the image below. I jumped up from here to climb up to the next floor.
Now it’s time to climb up. I did this with Stamina level 2. If your stamina bar is blue, that means you have Ice. To remove it, drink a tea or anything that gives you ice resistance.
Once you reach the top, go over to the blue circle, and you can see that it is illuminated by lights. Crouch down using L3 and hold R3 and release R3 to punch the ground.
