The Delta Red agent is one of my favorite figures I have ever held in my hands. Everything from the accessories to the sculpt is simply amazing. The packaging was a little much, and the joints came out very tight, but that was easy to fix with hot water. The Delta Red is a vampire, and that comes through with the facial details. I could spend all day gushing about the way this figure looks, but I will save that for the review.
Packaging
The Delta Red agent was beautifully packaged. Like the other Operation: Monster Force figures, there is a comic on the inside of the cover that explains what the Delta Red are. This figure came out of the packaging extremely tight, which I was able to fix with some hot water. One issue I had was removing a couple of the heads from the plastic. The plastic was far too tight around the head that features the helmet.
Another thing I want to call out is the use of twist ties around the chest and hips, this time, which I found a little obnoxious, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. The packaging was beautiful, but freeing this figure took far too much time.
Paint and Sculpt
Okay, starting with each of the heads first, I adore them. It was hard for me to pick one to keep on the figure, and when I take pictures, I will probably cycle through them. The first head is a rather basic vampire head with a flat mohawk. The teeth look fantastic because the fangs come to the forefront. I also love the way that the attitude comes forward in regard to his wrinkles.

The second head is more of a soldier’s helmet. It has red eyes and beautiful metal accents. What I love about this helmet is how sturdy it looks. It makes a lot of sense to have the whole head covered, which is why I love this sculpt. The divots in the helmet give it that extra spark of life that makes it feel like it could actually exist.

The final helmet looks like something you would see a heavily armored soldier wearing. The faceplate on it flips up to reveal another amazing vampire sculpt. I am seriously a sucker for these teeth. The eyes look fantastic as well. I was simply shocked at the amount of detail that was squeezed into this head sculpt.

Next, I have to gush about this tactical vest, which comes equipped with grenades and many pockets. I think that you can remove it because the figure is fully painted under the vest. I love how this thing looks because it breathes a lot of life into the figure and makes him look like he is bulky, which I appreciate. Other areas I have to call attention to are the belt around the torso, which looks fantastic, and has little details around the whole sculpt, which is to die for.

The arms have details too. The left arm has some kind of device on it, which has a bit of blue paint. It stands out nicely among the rest of the browns and greys but isn’t too overbearing. I adore the way the gloves look, too; they’re simple yet satisfying. What I am really obsessed with are these boots and the knee pads, and the legs. The kneepads add a good bit of weight to the figure, and they are sculpted on but do not get in the way of bending the legs. The detailing on the boots is simply mind-blowing to me. The laces look fantastic and do the edge of the boot. Finally, the overall camouflage print that covers this figure looks fantastic.
Articulation
The Delta Red has a fantastic range of motion. Depending on which head you choose, you will have a full range of motion to the left and right. Some of the heads can look more up and down. The torso can twist side to side and even all the way around. The hips are interesting because they have motion, but so do the thighs. It makes it easy to do some cool kick poses with the figure.

You can also move the foot down, twist it, and bring it up a little. The hands have a bit of articulation as well at the wrist, and they’re also stupidly easy to take off and put back on. The elbows were surprisingly stiff, even after using hot water. I had to sit here and fiddle with them while watching TV to really get them to loosen up.

Accessories and Final Thoughts
The Delta Red agent comes with a slew of accessories. For this reason alone, it stands above the rest of the figures that I have reviewed. You get three different weapons, which I love, plus the smoke and blast attachments. You also get a knife. My biggest criticism of the firearms would be the lack of love for the pistols. I am sad to report that the front of the rifle snapped as I was putting the blast on. It sucks because this rifle has a detachable clip and is the best-looking weapon in the box.

You also get a ton of add-ons for the figure, most of which I didn’t attach, but I did love the shoulder pads. Regardless of whether I used them or not, all of these accessories look great. You also get a set of shooting hands, fists, open hands, and normal hands to go along with the figure. The inclusion of extra magazines and pockets to carry the knife and the handguns was just genius.

The Delta Red figure was so close to being the first action figure to get a Ruby Token, but there are some serious issues here. First, being how weak the weapons feel. Second, my hands are messy after touching this figure. Black paint is constantly left on my fingertips and sometimes under my nails. It’s irritating, and I assume it is like an overcoat because I could not find where the figure was losing paint.
With all that said, I have to stress that this figure made me a believer. Not only in this new wave of reviews for the Pixel Panda Arcade, but in action figure collecting as a whole. I am ready to invest in stands and backdrops because of the Delta Red figure.
